The Hour of Prayer

That most important hour,

Starting and ending each day;

An hour of meditation,

Prayer time in quiet places of our souls

An hour of prayer, a time of dedication to God

An hour of a new era of good, sought and given,

An hour of glorifying our Maker,

An hour of goodness,

An hour that is but a moment in eternity,

Yet how that hour is cherished by eternity as a jewel –

In my hour of prayer I am anxious about nothing,

But in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,

I present my requests to God.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,

Guards my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus sustainably-

Give thanks in all situation for in Romans 8:28- “and we know that all things work together for good to those that love GOD and are called according to HIS purpose.”
