RADIANCE

Stately trees stand straight and silent

Quite and unmoving

Serenity prevails,

Morning breeze gently impressive in its quite presence-

Nature’s gallery in all its splendour,

Splendour of profuse beauty blooming

From bough to ground a quite animated activity

Gentle wind a stillness becalming-

Early birds flutter soundlessly,

Clambering dash of a squirrel

Sudden flurry of a rabbit,

A hedgehog makes its stand, defiant and unmoving-

Misty grass bearing perfect crystalline orbs

Dewy droplets catching brilliant flashes of light dispersed

Beauty captured in momentarily universes

Worlds beyond comprehension, momentarily defined-

Over silent slack of lugubrious lake’s water

Placid tranquillity unruffled, of

Gentle unperturbed peace, serene

As though wakening slowly-

Bouncing reflected light

Of early morning sun

Awakening day’s first golden rays,

Touching fire of renewed existence-

Light misty clouds of early morning dew

Swirl gently up

Phantasmagoria of departing forms

Fading into ancient woods-

Yellow spring sun

Embracing misty spirals

Breath of knobbly, ancient wood

Nature’s pristine purity-

The sun dance radiance shimmering

Sparkles of golden light

Flashing in spectacular beauty

Leaping off these dark moribund lake-

Solacing soft murmur of water

Lapping pebbly banks

Gentle slosh of water sanative

Gratifying gift of Creator's mind beyond reach-
