A SUMMER CLOUDBURST

Summer sky bursts asunder

In a cowering cover of darkness,

Angry storm clouds billowing

In a congealing mass of intense density;

Heavy weather-

Brilliant flashes of streaming lightning

Crackling and bursting

A resounding reverberating presence

Of impacting sound

Ka-boom-

Then the skies open

Cascading curtain of raindrops

Blanketing virtual space

Between heaven and earth

Big pebble drops of heavens sweltering moisture

Falling, filling, fulfilling-
