GREY SHEETS
Grey sheets of misery
Dripping
in sweltering blobs, of
Inconsolable loneliness,
Strange rain dripping slowly
Cladding my emotion
In sweltering layers of stickiness, undesirable-
Dark, ominous clouds,
Harbingers of foreboding happenstance
A thick covering of darkness
Stealing joy of light
Draining joy of life
Omen most ominous-
In one uninterrupted flow of greyness
Swamping sheets of miserable melancholy
Clutching in freezing coldness,
Spiralling up and around,
We wait-
Descending in enshrouding heaviness
In layers unyielding
Sheets, pricking sheets, overwhelming
In uninterrupted flow-
These dripping emotions are distracting
Dripping and congealing, when
Top meets bottom-
Congealing mass of emotion
Hanging heavily, wearily and sapping
Stretching lazily, clutching, cutting avariciously
On hearing of inevitable unexpected-
