Harvest

With His message of love and compassion

Bringing to fullness father’s grace

In final act of certainty of love

He gave of himself, a lamb sacrificed,

With His Blood He paid salvation’s price,

Bringing restoration and relief

Softening this infertility of deprivation

Which is what sin has made of earth,

Hearts removed from God’s nourishing grace

Turned over again and softened to hearken

Grounds prepared to take seed of His wisdom

To bring forth fruit,

Unending harvest of souls in prodigious proportions

That in willing servants sent forth to manage these fields

Fields of prepared grounds which

Spirit of Christ hath equipped to teach and heal

That through these good husbandmen is nurtured a harvest of joy

That pleases their Lord and Master

Who sent them to work His fields’ of unlimited harvests -
