Eternal Lord

Our god is eternity,

Time is irrelevant in his timeless presence

He has no limits, barriers or boundaries

He set limits and boundaries that man may be secured and safeguarded

Girded by simple obedience that sustains

A slight tug through the eons to set man on straight paths of joy

Lest they stray and tumble into anguish unnecessary, undesired, unrequited

When man is agitated, seeking, fighting and clamouring over others

To satisfy self

Oft wonders one, all these things over which we clamour

Trivial things we treasure and set above all things

From whence cometh these?

Could He not who provided it and enabled its appreciation from man's point of value appreciation

Not be seen in His greater glory?
