Our people have sort relief in reality

In reality there was only despair

They turn to their ancient past

But they found only suppression

They turned outside seeking relief

But they suffered affliction and oppression

Their very spirits are shedding tears of hopelessness

They have sought for meaning in reality

But reality is meaningless

Then, they turned to God

In Christ, reality is cast in benign humanness, so

Out of these stifling despair and desperation

A new world of hope is being crafted-
