Great God of wonders to thee our praises arise

When we receive your gift of life in your Beloved Son

By which man is restored by grace manifest in worthy sacrosanct blood

Sustained is fervour of fervent exaltation of grateful souls

Acknowledging grace's work in worthy praise –

Rabble assembly of harried humanity snuggling to their Creator and Saviour

Their plaintive joy sweetest music to loving Father

Welcoming to His presence prodigal children shown a way back to their Father

Grateful is Man for your compassion that long hours in desert of spiritual sanctity

Has come to a definite end in Christ Jesus –

Worship has risen in altars set in willing hearts

Welling out of dried out hearts reborn

Overwhelming outpouring of thanksgiving

Filling glory of magnificent presence of throne of grace with thanksgiving -

Of things long sought, their joy long forgotten in arid desert of want

Now, bitter, dry desert grounds having been watered in showers of blessing

Pouring forth from torn tendons of Christly King

Life given life rebirth in light, blazing swath of glorious presence in His earthly heritage –
