Sing ye, all creation

Delight in your Creator’s praise

Lift high His glorious praise, praises deserving

Let heaven and earth ring with your joy

Given expression by willing hearts

Doing greatest of all man’s undertaking

Acknowledging benevolent source of all things good and worthy

Who can withhold praise from mighty God of wonders

Whose work is to fill man’s heart with admiration and joy

When hearts filled to overflowing no longer their joy can contain? -

Praise in a mighty shout of joy sustained

Rising to throne most honoured

Purest rendition of humble souls

Acknowledging with pleasing tongues and joyful hearts

Mighty glory of loving Father -

See how beauty confirms its maker’s wholesomeness

Who out of nothing perfects balance sustained amidst His wondrous works

Works of unending variety,

Manifold complex whole held together in its unitary diversity -

Your Creator has eyes only for things wondrous and beautiful

He filled His prepared void with form and substance

He brought into being man made in His own image

With breath of life He gave man existence

And set him in a place perfected for His sustenance and nurturance -

Man enabled spiritual insight to contemplate God’s spiritual grandeur

He is given insight into worlds within worlds unfolding

Each a more magnificent expression of some hitherto astounding discovery

As if that were not enough above man’s head he stretched out very heaven’s immense glory

Amazing esplanade of mighty presences affirming His might and power -

Who brought into being this vast grandeur of never ending delight?

Delightful expression of wondrous works

Set in a place made to measure

Prepared for unending delight of his handiwork, these blessings hath man be given by grace

How blessed indeed is man -
