My faith awakens in blazing light of salvation enabled

Beaming from my Saviour hanging on a cross

That on Calvary's rugged grounds stand

Forever a symbol of God's faithfulness fulfilled

On creation's saddest day, when

Even in gloomiest darkness, exalted was awakening, as

Father and Son walked a solemn path

Through ancient sacrifice of covenant

Long established, in time ordained, fulfilled-

When obedient Lamb of God sacrificed by ignorant brutes

In eternal covenant fulfilled grand destinty of Creator and Created

His glory forever restored

Very Heavens bespoke a mighty deed of dread

Violated earth torn open in anguish in mighty quake

In Jerusalem was ancient temple curtain torn open

As worthy Blood most sacrosanct tore a way into waiting light

Long destined presently realised,

My Saviour torn into pieces for man's relief-

Humbly accomplished in a place choosen long before time

These holy grounds of profound dreadful deed

Innocent bearer of accreted curse borne without relief

This burden lifted by frail shoulders mangled

He, gentle in appearance benign father of all saints

This gentle soul of royalty and divinity bearing all that is unclean

He who has in suffering become graced blessings unlimited for eternity;

True King most royal, flailed, hanged, alone on a hilltop

Noble King, heritage of grace enabled, enabler most gracious-

Heaving out of aching lungs one final breath,

My Lord rolled bloodied eyes up, to

His Father and said "it is finished"

From Heaven the father looked down and affirmed

"It is finished, indeed" forever, my son is King

A priest forever in the order of Melchizedek,

He who intercedes with compassion for frail humanity

Enabling a way to grand inheritance long ordained

Your suffering has enabled grandest provision-

The blessings of grace that had long been held in store

Loosened by mighty anguish unto mankind

Jesus, lover of my soul, most beloved

Most grateful am I to you for the gift of life

In your life given

Thou royal seed of Abraham promised

Sewing salvations crop in tears

On hard grounds desolate

Behold your harvest of joy enabled-

This is life;

Freed from darkness

Ushered into true life in light of redemption

Of life reborn away from afflicted world

Light that walked quietly among men in darkness

Some who were given sight walked in blossoming blaze

Setting alight a fire inborn of Holy Spirit sent forth

A tinder are we who wait to be brought alive

When His willing spirit most holy sets us alive in His light-

In tears of Angels sharing His anguish

Glorious King of Angels hanged on coarse lumber,

Shredded in agony most agonising

Sins and darkness washed away

That in blood covenant of gentle lamb of God

I passed through precious blood of JHVH's son

before mighty gathering of Heavenly hosts

These mighty presence of Angels-

Heavy heart lightened

Passing by grace enabled

Presence of purity most holy

Light of life that awakens new man

Coming into being in His divine being

Grateful is my being, my whole being

To be so favoured before my Saviour

Long before I knew Him, grace was a given

His love for me was profound in depth-

Life's darkness in a moment cleansed

Ancient light from very beginning

Newness of life defined, when joy on a dark hill top

Proclaimed salvation's deed sealed for eternity hitherto

As sorrow's burdens in a moment is cast off

Lifted forever are afflictions' ancient curse

Grace enabled in precious blood come into being

Calvary's cross borne for me

A light load of grace revealed, received in gratitude

Upon willing shoulders lightly laid-

From this day in a moment enabled

I have a master, my gracious Saviour most glorious

David's Son, Messiah,who with blood most precious

Has purchased salvation out of love

I, redeemed in glorious exaltation

Tears of worry wiped away

Brilliant was the affirmation of Angelic hosts

Acclaiming in mighty praise the Lord's deed confirmed

When salvations task completed light came among men-

I praise thee Great God of Wonders

Lord of lords, Jehovah, thou compassionate enabler

For a sinner saved

Cleansed in glorious Saviour's blood

My life forever to Him willed

As faith born in mighty name of gentle saviour

Nurtured in blood most excellent in purity

Feeds upon renewal's hope

Sanctity of God's wellspring of never ceasing grace-

My faith looks up to that ancient imprint of grace enabled

Thou Lamb of God forever freedoms symbol upon Calvary,

O Saviour Divine;

To you I pray a proclamation of gratitude,

You who takes all my sins away,

Indeed all of creations sins

When your light descended upon my sin benumbed mind

Setting alight waiting spirit bedrock of soul in me by your Holy Spirit

When my heart yielded-

O let me from this day

Be wholly Thine!

Were I to walk through these dark mazes of life

Order my steps in your light

Make a straight path for me

For your sacrifice's sake, my Lord, my Saviour

My griefs dissipate in this rebirth of joy

In these aeonian light of life spreading

For eternity I am established before my Father and my Saviour-

Your presence encircles, filling me, all round me,

My sure guide, certain in assurance

Life's darkness has turned to brilliant day,

Sorrow's fears washed away in an instant,

Liberating incrementally from this day, for evermore

I am wholly Thine! Hallelujah, all praise arises to thee, David's pride

Praise holy gentle Lamb for sinners redeemed;

Give Him glory, all ye people,

For His Blood has washed away ancient stains-
