Seeds of faith

His field of preparation has been planted,

Seeds of faith cast upon earthly realms

Hardened grounds of desolation

That He came and prepared,

Digging deep into hardened hearts dried and deformed

Long deprived of healing waters

Hearts like lands parched;

Broken and cracking

Unto such as these

Son of Man came,

He descended from Heaven’s glory

To come shed showers, refreshing upon these deserts of severity

His blood, healing balm restoring life

Into these hardened hearts of thorns and bramble bushes

Hearts pleading for relief

At consoling feet of divine throne of grace

When our Saviour came to redeem mankind –
