First Light

When man saw first light dawn at moment of his creation

Mighty was joyous acclamation of exalted angels,

Mighty holy array of heaven’s glorious presence

Proclaiming Creator’s majestic magnificence

Given rendition in image of God Almighty in man-

Who in wisdom blazoning brilliant without a speck

Infinite understanding spanning endless realms

Comprehension of seemingly incomprehensible

Beyond reach of any, but him, Lord of Creation,

Created man in His image-

Knowledge that is from source of all that is

Emergence of wisdom’s rivers flooding

When the Lord Jehovah made a being sculpted in his very image

How very Heavens reverberated with his praise

Amazement of appreciation at wonders of His great works –

Culminating in God’s image given form and expression in man;

That awareness is light of knowledge and understanding permeating, thus,

Very heavens rang with a mighty proclamation of joy, and,

Man in innocence heard first song of glorious adoration

A song, long lost, rediscovered, in light descending –

When creation’s first son come to redeem his own;

Prophecies fulfilled in Spirit of prophecy come into being

When son of man uplifted creation to a place of lost glory

Given man glory lost and in redeemer rediscovered

Adulation of appreciation for salvation of the Lord’s very image

In man rendered filled very presence of magnificent throne of Heavenly glory-
